Outside the Top-10:
Undertaker: One of the greatest wrestlers of all time couldn’t crack the Top-10 because he really hasn’t done anything this past month building-up to the epic main event at Hell in a Cell. Whenever that gong hits, though, that’s enough of a reminder that ‘Taker always belongs in the conversation.
Brock Lesnar: Similar logic to the Undertaker here. As exciting as it was to see Brock hop up onto the ring apron to stare at the Undertaker, it was equally deflating to see him hop down and walk away. The world is already sold on this match, but I wouldn’t have been opposed to seeing another F-5 beforehand.
Sheamus: I can’t decide who is spinning his wheels more: Sheamus or King Barrett. The two have been paired up for the last couple shows to punish the undeserving Cesaro and Neville, but these empty victories have done nothing to advance their own characters. At least Sheamus has the promise of cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase sometime in the near future.
King Barrett: See above.
Rusev: And now entering the ranks of Foreign Heels Randomly Teamed with Other Foreign Heels is Rusev. He got the pleasure of joining Sheamus and King Barrett in a six-man tag match on Raw, and, even better, he gets to do it again during the Hell in a Cell Pre-Show. Win or lose, who cares? Calling it now: Once HIAC is over, Sheamus will move on to bigger and better things, and Rusev will take his place alongside King Barrett in tag team purgatory.
