Bayley

I really wanted to put the current NXT Women’s Champion higher on the list, but maybe it’s because Bayley should probably have at least six months as the top female wrestler in developmental before making the transition to the main television roster. That would also provide some time between her debut and the recent call-ups for Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte.

With that being said, I believe Bayley could be an instant hit with the crowd when they do call her up. She has every reason to be the NXT Women’s Champion, especially with her instant classic matches with Banks at recent NXT specials on the WWE Network. However, it’s her character and the way she comes to the ring is the unique quality that sets her apart from everyone else in the company.

Bayley has a demeanor and happiness about her of a child who is excited just to come to the arena to watch Monday Night Raw in person. Having that with a talent can be a reminder of how important it is to a superstar just to make it to this level of pro wrestling/sports entertainment. Sometimes we can forget that there is a child in ourselves that looks forward to a dream career, which is the point of why anyone works as hard as a WWE superstar does. In addition to that, Bayley has had her share of setbacks with a few injuries during her NXT tenure.

She will connect with the younger audience and be a hit among families, as she will likely want to give out hugs to the kids who sit in front row.
