Tick, tock goes the clock.

WWE is trying to be really slick here with Sheamus, by continuously putting him on early in these random PPV grudge matches. At some point, he’s got to cash-in, right? For Hell in a Cell, he’s actually in a 6-man tag match (Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, and Neville vs. Sheamus, King Barrett, and Rusev) on the Kickoff Show, so fans have plenty of time to forget about him.

Most likely the heel team will lose, and become an afterthought by the time Kane and Seth Rollins hit the stage, allowing for a bigger surprise. On the one hand, it’s tough seeing Rollins lose the title to either Kane or Sheamus at this moment, but with the TV ratings in the tank, maybe it’s a good time to let Sheamus run with the title, at least until the Royal Rumble, when the “Road to WrestleMania” starts back up.

On the other hand, not exactly sure fans are excited to see Sheamus as WWE Champion, but a surprise cash-in would help make this PPV more interesting. Will the “Celtic Warrior” step up once again and try to claim his prize, or will he just sit and argue with the ref about cashing it in? Seriously, why do refs always give wrestler such a hard time about this, just start the match!
