Lesnar and the Undertaker Must Tear the House Down at Hell in a Cell

During his appearance on the Stone Cold Podcast, Lesnar made mention that he wasn’t pleased with the match he and ‘Taker put on at SummerSlam. And truth be told, why should he be?

If you look at either match objectively—SummerSlam or WrestleMania 30—the quality of each wasn’t anything special. It’s a shame, too, because of the grandiose aura that surrounds this feud. Pro wrestling is a combination of two things: great ring work and great storytelling. As it pertains to Undertaker versus Brock Lesnar, the storytelling has carried most of the weight throughout their rivalry.

Not that that’s a crime or anything; however, this match is being hyped as the final encounter between these Superstars, and odds are that means for forever. Undertaker’s career is surely drawing to a close, and Lesnar himself admitted that he doesn’t see himself wrestling for longer than a few more years. After Hell in a Cell, there won’t be another meeting of the two.

So this feud needs to go out with a bang. It deserves to go out with a bang.

Brock Lesnar versus the Undertaker has been one of the most gripping, shocking programs in the history of the WWE and pro wrestling. The feud’s swan song is tonight’s main draw, but it must stack up as a grand finale between two of wrestling’s all-time greats.

Still, it’s worth noting that this isn’t the only match that needs a fantastic performance from both participants…
