Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus and King Barrett
The traditional match, held on the WWE Network broadcasted pre show, is set to feature six men who look to have been thrown together to make sure they all get a spot on the card. There are feuds ongoing between the men involved though and there’s some interesting stories behind them all.
Ziggler and Rusev have been embroiled in a long feud involving their respective love interests Lana and Summer Rae. The troubles between the four of them looked set to continue, that was until Lana and Rusev announced that they were engaged to be married in real life. Since then it seems that Rusev is paying the price for a massive break of kayfabe in the era when kayfabe is basically dead in professional wrestling.
King Barrett and Neville have been locked together in recent months, with the two Englishmen doing well in low card spots. They faced each other in the final of the King of Ring, with Barrett getting the win and taking on the “king” moniker. After a tag team loss at SummerSlam Barrett disappeared for a while but returned at the end of September and attacked Neville. Barrett teamed with Sheamus to face Neville and his partner Cesaro during matches in both Raw and SmackDown.
All six men will light up the pre show and should come out of the match to continue their individual feuds.
