Kevin Owens (c) vs. Ryback

Result: Kevin Owens defeats Ryback via pinfall to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Ryback started with a flurry of punches before Owens responded with a few. Ryback took him down with a clothesline and began driving his shoulder into him. He followed this up with a back body drop.

Ryback wnet for a guerrilla press but Owens countered. Ryback picked him up for a vertical suplex and hit it. Owens sidestepped a move from Ryback but got planted with a slam.

As Ryback hit punches at the top rope, Owens knocked him off and hit a senton for a near-fall.

Owens would go for a cannonball but Ryback planted him with a spinebuster. As he went for the meat hook, Owens countered but so did Ryback. He hit a powerbomb for a near-fall.

Owens would send Ryback onto the outside. He would barely get back in before the 10-count. Owens set up for the pop-up powerbomb but Ryback countered.

Ryback went for the Shellshock but Owens grabbed the ropes. Owens threw Ryback for the pop-up again and retained.
