WWE WrestleMania 32 Match Card Projections 4.0
Triple H vs. The Rock
It’s WrestleMania 32— could Triple H and especially The Rock not be included on the show?
These two battled through the Attitude Era, having a big clash on the first episode of SmackDown in Aug. 1999. They also competed in the same WrestleMania match at WrestleMania 2000 (fatal 4-way for the WWF Championship) but never one on one at the show. WrestleMania 32 would give them that platform to do so.
On the 15th anniversary edition of SmackDown last year, Triple H and Rock were featured in a backstage segment reminiscing over their time on SmackDown. Tensions would eventually escalate and The Game would bring up battling Rocky inside a stadium of 100,000 people. It’s not a coincidence that he mentioned that because AT&T Stadium holds that many people.
Then there’s what happened at WrestleMania 31. Rock and Ronda Rousey interrupted a segment of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in the ring. Rock and Rousey would stand tall as they kicked the heels out of the ring. This was another sign of this match happening.
Seeing Rock vs. Triple H one more time would be a huge draw. Despite people saying this would take a spot away from two full-time stars, these two former WWE Champions are all-time greats who can still wrestle and would put on a show.
So, can you smell what The Rock is cooking? Or, is it all about The Game?
