Roman Reigns finally got to Bray Wyatt
Last night, in what was one of the better matches of the night, Roman Reigns finally got to Bray Wyatt and was able to defeat him one-on-one in the middle of the ring. The two did a good job of using the weapons under the ring to tell a good story, but the limitations of the PG world that the WWE is in stopped the cell from being a bigger player.
Reigns is very talented and can sell and is really good at ring physiology. This feud has been really good for the upstart, when the mic hasn’t been in his hands. There is some momentum surrounding Reigns and he is really starting to get over with the crowd. Some, including myself, feel like a heel turn is still the best for Roman’s character, but he has done a great job with what has been put in front of him.
That leads to a common question in this preview: what’s next? I proposed the idea that he could go after Rollins and the title. The WWE may want to save that for WrestleMania 32 though. We saw Reigns backstage after his match against Wyatt, and then Ambrose walked in and teased some “big announcement” that the two had planned for tonight on RAW. What could that be? That’s anybody’s guess, but either way this episode of RAW should begin the groundwork for Survivor Series and that means we are getting closer to WrestleMania. That’s exciting folks.
