Asuka vs. Cameron

Result: Asuka def. Cameron via submission (Asuka-Lock).

Rating: 2.8 out of 5 stars

Cameron is back on WWE television and was met by a ton of boos from the NXT crowd. The former Funkadactyl goes for a slap of Asuka, but she catches Cameron with a gorgeous rolling arm bar. Cameron gets out and gets in control, hitting her splits pin on Asuka for a two count.

Asuka starts mocking Cameron’s dance moves, and hits Cameron with leaping hip attacks similar to the Rear View. Asuka begins to focus on the arm of Cameron, before hitting her with a series of spinning back fists. A drive-by kick, followed by an Asuka-Lock gets Asuka the victory.

Evan’s Note: Asuka’s move set is extremely impressive and she seems really comfortable in an NXT ring. Seeing Cameron back was a surprise, but she was a lot better than she’s been previously. She must have put in some work at the Performance Center. In honor of her return, please enjoy Cameron’s amazing answer when asked about her favorite match during her run on Tough Enough:
