Result: Ends in a No Contest – Baron Corbin interferes.

The match has it’s introductions done with a spotlight on the ring, and the men starts with a handshake. The two do some chain wrestling at the beginning as we go to a quick break.

Back from the break and Crews has Balor in a headlock. Crews hits a beautiful dropkick and a corner splash, but Balor catches him with a drop kick to slow the challenger’s momentum. Balor continues to keep control, reversing a sunset flip into a drop kick. Crews returns the favor with the same move minutes later. Balor and Crews trade kicks, with Balor hitting an enziguiri to the knock Crews to the outside. Balor hits a suicide dive onto Crews as we go to commercial.

Coming back from commercial Balor is in control of Crews and nails him with a huge clothesline. Balor gets hit with a kick, but still connects with a sling blade to Crews. Crews goes for the Apollo Combination, but Balor gets the knees up to reverse it. Balor kicks Crews into the corner, but Crews rolls out of the way of the Coup de Grace. The two trade massive kicks in the middle of the ring and both men are down. Baron Corbin rushes the ring and goes after Apollo Crews, slamming him into the ring steps. Balor gets assaulted by Corbin too, who gets chased away by Samoa Joe.

Who then promptly attacks Finn Balor. Samoa Joe beats down Balor, hitting him with the Muscle Buster. Joe screams at Balor, “I did this to you” before grabbing the NXT title and draping it over Balor to end the show.
