Kevin Owens vs. Neville

Result: Kevin Owens defeats Neville via pinfall to advance to the semifinals on Sunday at WWE Survivor Series.

Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars

Neville goes for a roll up but Owens kicks out. Neville tries to work Owens’ arm and sends him down. Owens comes back with a kick to the gut and a vicious head lock. Owens hit a shoulder tackle but got hit with head-scissors take down.

Neville would go to the top rope and attempt the Red Arrow but Owens got away. He then hit a moonsault off the top rope for a near-fall on KO.

We come back to see Neville fighting back on Owens but instead he got hit with a clothesline for a near-fall.

As Owens went for a suplex, Neville countered with a knee to the head. He hit an elbow and a few hard chops. Owens then dropped Neville on the apron and superkicked him. He would get back into the ring at the 9 count.

In the ring, Owens hit a backbreaker and a senton for a near-fall.

Neville fought back with a snap suplex and set up for a second rope corkscrew for a near-fall. He went back to the top rope again for the Red Arrow but Owens got up. He hit an enziguri and climbed back to the top rope for the Red Arrow but Owens knocked him off the ropes. Neville reversed a Pop-Up Powerbomb into a reverse Frankensteiner for a near-fall!

Neville went back to the top rope but Owens moved out of the way. KO would hit the Pop-Up for the win to advance.

Rob’s Note: This was a very good match. Neville looked great, which seemed like part of the goal here. Owens moves on, though, and will be in the semifinals.
