Dean Ambrose – 15%

Dean Ambrose’s chance to walk out of Survivor Series as champion depends entirely on a major heel turn taking place. And no, I’m not necessarily talking about Ambrose.

If Ambrose ends up as WWE World Heavyweight Champion this Sunday, it means one of two things has happened: either he turned heel, or Roman Reigns did.

This would happen with Ambrose beating Reigns in the finals of the tournament. So, one way for that to happen would be Ambrose beating Reigns cleanly, which hasn’t happened to the latter on the main roster in a singles match ever. But if this were the night it happened, Ambrose is definitely a credible foe to finally take down Reigns. However, what would happen after that? As noted before, WWE is pushing Reigns toward the title, so if he doesn’t win on Sunday, he’s going to feud with whoever does, and there is no chance he feuds with his best friend in a face vs. face rivalry. It just isn’t going to happen. So that would have to mean Reigns gets frustrated with coming up short yet again and he takes out his aggression on his best friend, turning him fully heel.

The other option is pretty self-explanatory. If Ambrose cheats to win, that would turn him heel on the spot. Taking on his so-called brother in a better-man-wins scenario in the biggest match of their lives, and he cheats to win. It would be unforgivable, and mark the beginning of a total heel turn by Ambrose, which has been rumored for months, especially after Rollins went down and the need for a new heel arose.

Basically, Ambrose’s prospects for winning the championship depend entirely on either him or Reigns turning heel at Survivor Series, and I certainly wouldn’t rule it out.
