5. Dean Ambrose
Last Rank: 3
Week Highlights: Earned the right to be the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship; almost lost it due to poor friendship choices.
Dean Ambrose really needs to stop hanging out with Roman Reigns.
And it isn’t because their friendship doesn’t bode well with the Authority; it’s because every inch of progress he makes as a singles wrestler always ends up connected to Reigns. Who did Dean face in the Title Tournament Finals at Survivor Series? Roman Reigns. Who helped Ambrose steal the title from Rollins a few months ago? Roman Reigns.
This week, Dean barely held on to his spot as the number one contender for the IC Title thanks to none other than Roman Reigns (with a slight nod to the League of Nations).
For his own sake, Ambrose should look into getting a restraining order against his detrimental best friend.

4. The New Day
Last Rank: –
Week Highlights: Prominently featured on Raw and SmackDown without becoming stale.
With a heap of mainstays out of action, the New Day has been the most solid act on WWE television over the past month. They’re opening shows, closing shows, and appearing in several vignettes and matches throughout.
Currently they’re set to defend their Tag Titles against the Usos and the Lucha Dragons at TLC, but they are being relied on to inject energy and entertainment whenever a show needs an extra boost.
They’ve been a stable for a year now, and their heel angle has been going on for the better part of 2015. You’d think their shenanigans would have gotten old at this point, but amazingly they haven’t.
That’s an impressive feat in this day and age of the WWE.
