6 Problems That Led to WWE Ratings Decline

After hearing so many theories, reasons and excuses why WWE is struggling in the ratings, we look at the main reasons behind the slump.

The last few months have been tough times for WWE. The injury to Seth Rollins, the man who was the company champion, undoubtedly hasn’t helped but the problems were there for all to see even before that happened. Fans are tuning out in their droves, with the most recent ratings for Raw dropping to their lowest since 1997. That has to set alarm bells ringing for Vince McMahon and the rest at the top of WWE.

If you have no fans there’s no reason to have a product. How long can the decline go on until advertisers and share holders begin to worry and start to pull their support? How far do we need the numbers to drop before Vince McMahon has a moment of clarity and realises that the way things are done just isn’t working and things need to change?

When Mick Foley posted on social media that he was one episode away from not watching Raw again it set some alarm bells ringing in my head.
