The Hurricane’s Bizarre Move

Like Joey Ryan, Gregory Helms has had a long career in wrestling. He worked for WCW, WWE and TNA under multiple variations of his name. However, most WWE fans know him as The Hurricane, a gimmick he had from 2001 to 2005. He was a low-card comedy act, teaming with Rosey.

The Hurricane was an interesting character in the ring. He played a superhero on a TV-14 show, so he came off as goofy and silly (He did wear a cape, so…).

Well, one of Hurricane’s strangest moments came during a match with Tajiri on a brand split episode of WWE SmackDown.

In the video above, you will see Tajiri miss an enziguri. Hurricane then bends Tajiri’s legs, holds his arms and picks him up. He then starts swinging him head-first into the bottom turnbuckle. The move looks like a wheelbarrow, but it’s hard to tell what Hurricane was trying to do here.

This was another one of wrestling’s strangest moves. What’s next?
