On paper that should have been an epic event, it wasn’t. It was ruined by daft booking and showed just how bad things were getting within the booking department at the time, a problem that still plagues them to this day.

The one saving grace of the card could have been the opener, a ladder match between Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper. A tough match that ended with a super kick off the ladder that allowed Ziggler to hold on to his belt was the highlight of the night early on.

The Miz and Mizdow were one of the hottest things at the time in the company but nobody seemed to know how to capitalise on the success they had found for themselves. Big Show got a stair assisted pin for the win in the first ever Stairs match against Eric Rowan.

A screwy looking finish in the tables match between John Cena and Seth Rollins looked like a masterstroke, then it got a bit silly. They both went through a table at the same time. The referees then raised both men’s hands as the winner then the match was restarted, Big Show and Roman Reigns got involved and Cena got the win. Unnecessarily over booking ruined the match. Brie Bella helped sister Nikki beat AJ Lee to retain the Divas title (yawn). The Chairs match between Ryback and Kane was a waste of Kane and seemed pointless. Rusev looked like the dominant beast after beating Jack Swagger to retain the United States title.

It was good to see different guys in the main event spot. Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt went into battle in the TLC match on the night. It’s just a shame a decent match was lost by Ambrose after a TV blew up in his face (?!?) to allow Wyatt to hit Sister Abigail for the win.

A card that promised a lot but didn’t really produce the goods.
