Who are this week’s movers and shakers in the Daily DDT WWE Power Rankings?
Well, that was awful.
Here we are, after the last Monday Night Raw before TLC, and the best that the WWE could produce was a fifteen-minute segment that went like this:
ALSO ON DAILY DDT: WrestleMania 32 Card Projections 5.0
Roman Reigns: I dare you to come in the ring, Sheamus.
Sheamus: No. It’s dangerous.
Roman Reigns: You have tater tots. Come in the ring.
Sheamus: Maybe if you get rid of all that stuff in there… But do it slowly.
Roman Reigns: Did it, tater tots. Come in the ring.
Sheamus: Still not interested.
Roman Reigns: Tater tots.
Sheamus: NOW I’M MAD.
(Uninspired brawl ensues)

The last segment to end Raw that was that bad was when John Cena spent the same amount of time pouring barbecue sauce on a naked Michael Cole, and, sadly enough, that was probably more entertaining than the snoozefest from last night. The go-home Raw before a pay-per-view is supposed to be the final push to draw viewers to the show, but last night’s episode probably convinced those on the fence the sit this one out.
Last week I tried to be optimistic and give WWE the benefit of the doubt. The debut of the League of Nations had an iota of promise in that there was an attempt to give some drifting Superstars some purpose, and there were stabs at progressing a few other storylines as well, no matter how feeble the attempts.
But this week, it’s apparent that nothing has really changed. The WWE creative team is carrying on with their trite, ineffective programs to the point where it’s becoming insulting to anyone over the age of ten. The effects of such prolonged stagnancy on the WWE brand have yet to be fully seen; however, for now you’ll notice that the WWE Power Rankings haven’t changed much as a result.
Note: Daily DDT WWE Power Rankings take into account everything from WWE programming from the past week: Storylines, match quality, championships, and wins and losses are all in play. Performances tracked are based on Raw, SmackDown, Main Event and other weekly specials, excluding NXT. To be included on this list, a Superstar must be listed on the current WWE.com Superstars roster.
