5. Charlotte
Last Rank: 6
Week Highlights: Continued to be exposed as a hypocrite.
Charlotte is undergoing one of the most unique, enjoyable transformations in recent memory. The concept of the preconceived bad guy potentially being right in her allegations about the preconceived good guy in a feud has rarely been so successfully executed.
Charlotte is now the backstabbing friend, and just like Paige said, Charlotte is likely riding the coattails of her father’s success more than what she lets on. Instead of denying any instances of nepotism given by her birth name, the Miz TV segment on Raw demonstrated that she is finally embracing it. By doing so, she is cultivating untapped heel heat that has yet to even come to a boil.

4. Dean Ambrose
Last Rank: 5
Week Highlights: Ate some popcorn and celebrated his birthday.
For weeks, Ambrose has been stymied by having to play second fiddle to Roman Reigns. It’s been said a million times, but the relationship benefits him in no way whatsoever.
Raw was a prime example: the night opened with Ambrose taking part in that massive tag match, where he was essentially as irrelevant as the next guy. But then a few minutes later, he was the coolest guy in the room by simply throwing popcorn and soda in Kevin Owens’ face. And not like that forced Roman Reigns cool; there is an obvious swagger to Ambrose that only has the opportunity to shine through when he is the focus of a program.
Ambrose doesn’t necessarily need to “turn” on Reigns, or vice versa, but he can’t keep tagging alongside Reigns when Ambrose is as big of a star in his right.
