Brock Lesnar

A little over a week ago, we learned that Brock Lesnar is booked for the Royal Rumble PPV. The report did not specify whether he would be in the Rumble match or have a separate bout, though. However, it would be surprising to see WWE not put him in the main event of the evening.

If entered, Lesnar will be the favorite to win and headline WrestleMania for a second straight year. He would be doing so against Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The former Shield man is expected to beat Sheamus in their inevitable rematch at WWE Fastlane in Feb.

The Beast Incarnate makes the most sense as the winner due to his impeccable booking and the lack of other options. If entered in the Royal Rumble, someone would obviously have to attempt to throw him out of the ring. With all the talent that will be involved, no one would be believable for this to happen except for a tiny handful of WWE stars. This means a Lesnar win would be likely.

It’s not such a bad thing for Lesnar to win either. WWE has to sell out a 100,000 seat stadium in AT&T Stadium. They had planned to make this one of the biggest WrestleMania shows ever, making Lesnar in the main event logical.

With Brock Lesnar being the obvious choice, where else could WWE turn if he’s not the choice?
