Kevin Owens (c) vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental title

This feud started off back when Ambrose defeated Owens in the semis of the tournament for the vacant WWE Heavyweight title, obviously, Owens was not happy his dream of holding two titles at the same time was dashed away by some lunatic. To get to this match, Ambrose won a three-way number one contender match against Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Breeze.

Since then, both men have gone back and forth on the mic, Owens accusing Ambrose of being a “fake” crazy guy, while he is the true lunatic of the WWE. Ambrose decided throwing soda and popcorn in Owens face was the best way of retaliation. Eventually, the two met up for a contract sign and – surprise, surprise – they got into a massive brawl!

Frankly, this is one of WWE’s lower tier PPVs and it would be a big surprise to have a title change, although I don’t see Owens winning it cleanly either. This feud is still relatively fresh, and should continue for the next few months. Since there’s no stipulation with this match, it could easily end in a DQ, so why not have Ambrose save face by getting the win, but Owens still gets to keep his precious title. These are two highly talented guys and this feud should not be rushed by WWE’s creative team.

Pick: Dean Ambrose (Via DQ – 90% Confident)
