WWE Tag Team Championship Triple-Threat Ladder Match

The New Day(c) vs. The Usos vs. The Lucha Dragons

Result: The New Day defeated the Usos and the Lucha Dragons

Rating: 4.0 out of 5.0 stars

Everyone made their respective entrances, and the match got under way. For the record, Big E and Kofi represented the New Day, and the action started with Big E clearing the ring as Kofi brought in a ladder. The Dragons and Usos were quick to stop Kofi’s climb, and the two teams faced off before a scramble up the ladder ensued.

The Dragons cleared the ring this time, and proceeded to hit dual moonsaults to the outside on the New Day. As the Dragons tried to climb back in the, the Usos hit them with a ladder.

The Usos threw the ladder to the outside, which the Dragons and Big E caught, and then the Usos dove to the outside and took the three men out.

Back in the ring, the Usos set up the ladder. Kofi dove through the ladder, but was caught by the Usos, who proceeded to throw Kofi out of the ring. Big E came in to clean up, though, and took out the Usos. Big E and Kofi pinned Jey Uso between a ladder and the corner, each taking turns kicking the ladder as Xavier tromboned on the outside. Big E then threw Jimmy into the ladder with a belly-to-belly toss.

The Lucha Dragons snuck into the ring with a ladder of their own, taking out Kofi. Big E fought back, but the Luchas downed him as well. Using an inverted ladder, Sin Cara free-fell from the corner onto Kofi. Sin Cara then dove onto another ladder on the outside, crushing both Usos at the same time. Inside the ring, Kalisto pinned Big E under the ladder and started to climb for the belt. Big E tried to muscle out, but Sin Cara jumped on the ladder as well. That only temporarily stopped Big E as he still managed to lift the ladder.

The Usos came back into the ring and hit double Superkicks on Big E before trapping him in the corner with a ladder. They then hit double running drop kicks on the ladder, causing Big E to fall out of the ring. Alone with Kofi in the ring, Jey Uso laid Kofi on a small ladder. Jey appeared to go for the splash, but Kofi managed to hang him up on the top rope. Kofi climbed up the turnbuckle with Jey, but Jey fought out when Jimmy threw him a small ladder to hit Kofi with. Jey then pinned Kofi under that ladder, allowing Jimmy to hit a running back body.

Now with a new ladder set up in the middle of the ring, the Usos and the Dragons had a standoff before all scrambling up the ladder. The Dragons managed to gain control, stacking a ladder on Jimmy Uso. Sin Cara catapulted Kalisto onto the ladder and he connected with a 450 splash. The Lucha Dragons set up a ladder, but Kofi entered the ring and took both Dragons out.

Kofi stacked a a ladder between the middle rope and a standing ladder. Kalisto leapt off the stacked ladder and flipped Kofi into the ladder. Kalisto started to climb for the belts, but the Usos slowed him down. All men fell off except for Jey Uso, but Kalisto recovered and started his climb.

The two traded shots on the top of the ladder until Kalisto hit the Salida Del Sol from the top of the ladder and through another ladder! Sin Cara followed up with a splash on Jey Uso from the top rope.

Kalisto started to climb the ladder and so did Jimmy Uso. Jimmy knocked off Kalisto and got close to the belt, but Big E knocked him off. The two battled back and forth, with Jimmy getting Big E outside of the ring. Big E tried to bring another ladder into the thing, but Jimmy kicked the ladder in his face. The ladder ended up on top of Big E, which Jimmy then jumped onto from the top rope.

Bodies were strung all around the ring as Kalisto set up a ladder in the middle of the ring. He started to climb and got close, but Xavier threw the trombone at him.

Kofi capitalized and took out Kalisto. That gave him enough time to climb the ladder and pull down the belts.

Eugene’s Note: These teams did not disappoint. Some truly jaw-dropping moments in this one.
