Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler

Result: Match ends in a no contest.

Rating: 2.9 out of 5 stars

Ambrose began with a lock on Ziggler’s left arm and got a one fall with Ziggler’s shoulders down. Ambrose then hit a shoulder tackle before being hit with a dropkick for a near-fall.

They would trade pinfalls attempts.

Ambrose would hit a scoop slam and get a near-fall. He hit a suplex for near-fall.

The Lunatic Fringe would lock in Ziggler’s neck and knee him in the gut. Ambrose hit an elbow for a one count.

Ziggler would fight back with a kick to the gut and a splash in the corner. He hit a neckbreaker but got clotheslined out of the ring. Ambrose would capitalize with a dive through the ropes.

Ambrose would go to the top rope but Ziggler dodged the move. They would trade pin attempts before going to commercial.

We come back to see Ziggler hitting dropkick on Ambrose who jumped off the top rope, for a near-fall. Ziggler would hit the Fameasser for another near-fall.

Ambrose would hit an inverted wheelbarrow move for a near-fall.

Ziggler would meet Ambrose on the top rope, get pushed off and hit with a missile dropkick. Ambrose hit the running bulldog for a near-fall.

Ziggler would lock in the sleeper hold and hit a superkick. Ambrose would then hit his trademark clothesline.

Kevin Owens would make his way out, throw Ziggler through the ropes and begin beating down Ambrose to cause a DQ. He hit a Pop-Up Powerbomb on the IC Championand grabbed the title.

Owens walked back in the ring with the title, tossed it to the side and hit his finisher again.

Ziggler would come in to make the save but Owens sent him down too. KO then picked up Dolph and powerbombed him onto Ambrose.

Rob’s Note: This was a very good match and didn’t need a definitive finish. We now see that these three will be going into a feud for the IC Championship, which is fine. A triple threat match should be fun.
