League of Nations Beatdown

Backstage we see the League of Nations assaulting The Usos.

Steel Cage Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus

Result: Dean Ambrose defeats Sheamus.

Before the match started, Sheamus Brogue Kicked Ambrose and the League of Nations assaulted him at ringside.

After being rolled back into the ring, Sheamus stomped on Ambrose and threw him into the cage twice. He hit a drive on Ambrose for a near-fall.

Sheamus then begins hitting Ambrose’s chest until the latter works back with headbutts before being hit in the face.

Sheamus then tried climbing the cage to escape until Ambrose grabbed his feet and pulled him down. However, Sheamus responded with a take down.

After continuing to work on Ambrose, Sheamus got thrown into the cage.

Ambrose came back with chops and hit his trademark clothesline.

Ambrose tried climbing out but got pulled back. Sheamus tried doing the same and they met on the top rope. Sheamus would hit White Noise off the top rope for a near-fall.

Sheamus then tried climbing the cage, but Ambrose met him up there. He started pulling Sheamus down and the Celtic Warrior landed crotch-first onto the ropes.

However, as Ambrose tried to leave, the League of Nations stopped him. Ambrose then jumped off the top of the cage with a flying elbow for a near-fall.

Ambrose tried leaving the cage door, but Alberto Del Rio slammed the cage door in his face.

Roman Reigns then came out of nowhere and speared Del Rio. He then took out Rusev with a Superman punch while King Barrett ran away.

Sheamus would try going up the cage but Reigns met him up there. He threw a chair into the cage and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds into it.

Ambrose and Sheamus then met each other at the rope of the cage and started throwing punches. They then went to the outside of the cage and hung on while battling. After a Sheamus headbutt, Ambrose fell off and won.

We then see Stephanie McMahon being asked for her reaction by Tom Phillips. She responds by slapping him about twenty times as he goes to the ground in a fetal position.

Rob’s Note: This was a very fun match to close Raw with cool spots and drama. Oh, and Stephanie just emasculated Tom Phillips.
