WWE Raw Review: Results, Analysis and Grades; Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus

Stephanie McMahon Opens Raw

Stephanie McMahon opens the show by talking about the Slammy Awards. She says she shouldn’t be so happy right now about Roman Reigns attacking Triple H and Vince McMahon last week. She says McMahons rise to the occasion and nothing will get her down tonight since tonight is a night of celebration. Roman Reigns then enters the arena.

Reigns says tonight seems like a good night because everyone is in a good mood. He says we’re celebrating the Slammy Awards and his WWE World Heavyweight Championship win. He says he thinks Stephanie may be trying to make him sweat, and it won’t work.

Reigns says for Stephanie to tell Triple H that he is here and not hard to find.

Stephanie tells Reigns to get out multiple times. She keeps going on until Reigns says no one wants him to leave. She says she will make him get out of the ring if he doesn’t leave. Reigns says the crowd still doesn’t want him to leave and makes Stephanie even more mad. He then turns his back to Stephanie, walks out of the ring and back up the stairs while she calls his name.

Stephanie tells Reigns to run and then puts The Usos into a 3 vs. 2 handicap match against New Day. She then puts Dean Ambrose inside a steel cage against Sheamus.

Rob’s Note: This was a very fun first segment. It didn’t drag and we got direction for tonight’s matches on Raw.

Dolph Ziggler gives out the Slammy for Breakout Star of the Year, after talking about himself. We go to break before the announcement is made.
