The Slammy Awards

Tonight’s edition of RAW will be headlined by the giving out of various Slammy Awards, the WWE’s version of the Oscars. The main prize will be the Superstar of the Year award, the award giving in kayfabe to the best superstar on the WWE roster. While these awards are fixed and giving out to who the WWE creative team sees fit, they are a nice end to the 2015 year. It always us to look back on the year that 2015 was, and remember all the great moments that 2015 gave us. We, as Internet fans, complain a lot about poor booking decisions and terrible matches. Despite that, there are some great moments that define 2015 and this is a way to relieve those moments and to move on to 2016 in style.

Throughout the night, a number of different Slammys will be presented, and there will probably be a return or two to hand out an award, which is always fun. We may not have much in terms of story development, but this show is also fun and different and will close out the year. And seeing who wins the Superstar of the Year is always must-see TV, as they normally see a push after earning these honors.
