WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 5 Potential Surprise Entrants

3) Finn Balor
There is one way and one way only that I want this to go down.
Bray Wyatt needs to enter the Royal Rumble at #1, with his extravagant entrance kicking off the match in a pretty cool way. He paces around the ring like he usually does, waiting to see who entrant #2 is. The lights go out, the heartbeats echo through the arena, and out comes Finn Balor, demon paint and all, confronting the new face of fear, Bray Wyatt.

Now this is probably wishful thinking, because Balor isn’t coming up to the main roster anytime soon and making an entrance like that would make even non-NXT fans be like “Hey, where did that guy who made the coolest entrance of all-time at the Royal Rumble go?” To avoid that, I guess he could come out at some point in the middle of the match without his paint or anything, but honestly, if we’re not gonna have Balor’s first main-roster appearance be accompanied by the full entrance and body paint, then what are we really doing with our lives.
Despite it being unlikely, a one-off appearance would still be a great moment, and could set up a Wyatt-Balor rivalry down the line when Balor finally does come up. Considering the Royal Rumble has standoffs every year that aren’t followed up on, the fans wouldn’t necessarily think this confrontation would have to lead to a rivalry between the two.
Even if it wasn’t a standoff with Bray Wyatt, having Finn Balor make his full entrance at #1 or #2 would be an electric way to kick off one of the biggest matches of the year.
