Randy Orton pulled off arguably the greatest RKO ever.
Later that night at WrestleMania 31, Seth Rollins had an all-time great moment of his own.
He even won a second belt later in the year off of John Cena.
It’s too bad Rollins and Orton are hurt, though.

One of Cena’s opponents, Sami Zayn, had himself a year as well. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury during their match in May.
More on him later.
2015 was also the year of Kevin Owens, who broke into the main roster in May and started doing things like this.
Bayley and Sasha Banks took over women’s wrestling in 2015. They put on spectacular matches at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn and NXT TakeOver: Respect, the latter of which was a 30-minute Ironman match.
Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated Divas Revolution was taking place on the main roster with Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch arriving.
Unfortunately, it looked more like this mere months later:
Asuka debuted, got over quickly and greatly made a fool out of Emma and Dana Brooke. She’s going to be doing big things in 2016.
The League of Nations arrived shortly after WWE Survivor Series. About a week later, they couldn’t be taken seriously due to things like this.
This was also due to an infamous line from Roman Reigns, who seemed to really enjoy saying it.
To cap this off, Reigns finally won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
But before that, he annihilated Triple H.
Then he won the title one night later.
To conclude this eventful year, Zayn returned!
