Jason Jordan and Chad Gable Should Debut in WWE As the New Midnight Express

We all want to see Jason Jordan and Chad Gable debut in WWE, but this is how it should be done.

You could make an argument right now that Jason Jordan and Chad Gable are one of the best tag teams in the world, that goes without saying. You can also make the argument that they should be on the WWE main roster right now. That said, they very well will be in 2016.

And here’s how …

Right now, the tag team division in WWE consists of The Usos and New Day, with New Day being the title holders. Eventually, though, we know that The Usos will be getting those belts, and it will probably be at WrestleMania  in Dallas for a “feel good” moment. 100,000 people standing and cheering for the babyface champs getting the job done is what WrestleMania is all about, right?! I mean, they were the tag team of the year in 2015 (which was completely ludicrous, but that’s a different story for another day).

Anyhow, The Usos have their moment on that night in AT&T Stadium, and the next night on RAW, they come out to have a match with a random tag team, which they win of course. YAY, the new tag team champs are over, right? All is well, Jimmy and Jey have the belts!

Well, these two Samoans are celebrating the fact that they’re tag team champs once again, when all of a sudden, the lights go out.

When the lights come back on, the camera pans to THIS guy standing at the top of the ramp.

Now, because you always have “smart” fans the night after WrestleMania, the crowd is going bonkers because, holy sh**, it’s Jim Cornette! How did he and Vince come on good terms?

Well, kids, if you don’t know the answer to that question, you don’t know wrestling all that well. Vince, no matter how much he may differ and contrast with someone, will always do what’s … *sigh*… best for business.

So, anyway, Cornette is standing there on the top of the ramp, soaking in all of the admiration for his return, when he points that infamous tennis racket at Jimmy and Jey, who look confused and bewildered at what they’re seeing.

Then, this starts to play…

Again, there will be a lot of smarks in the crowd losing their minds, which is what the RAW after ‘Mania is all about; they’ll hear this and fall out of their chairs.

All of a sudden, the lights go out again and these two are on opposite sides of the apron …

Jordan and Gable show up and the people lose their sh** even more. They stare down Jimmy and Jey, before eventually getting into the ring and demolishing them. Gable is throwing them all over the place with suplexes, Jordan rips the straps off the singlet and starts punishing both of them; it’s a damn beat down.

When both Usos are laying in the ring, dead, Cornette makes his way down to the ring. He hugs both men, then he grabs a mic and says, “Vince, I’ve been waiting years for this! I walked away from this industry years ago and have been on a roll bashing it because there have been no ‘real’ wrestlers. Now, I’ve found two legitimate wrestlers to take over not only your tag team division, but WWE!”

Now this makes sense because Jordan and Gable were both legitimately successful in amateur wrestling, which is why they get along so well outside of the ring.

Cornette finishes with, “Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the NEWWWWWWWWWWWW, Midnight Express: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable!”

This is the whole point here. We’ve been listening to Cornette on shoot interviews for years talking about how the wrestling business is dead, but these two guys can help him get back to the big time with a legitimate reasoning. Also, let’s not argue the fact that Jim Cornette is one of the greatest managers of all time, there’s no debate about that.

These two have a nice tag team run, break away eventually into what we really can assume will be successful singles careers, but to get things started, this is how it should be done.
