WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Roman Reigns (c) vs. John Cena

This was predicted in one of our first batches of WrestleMania 32 projections. It is being brought back after Roman Reigns and John Cena had a staredown once Raw went off the air on the 28th.

WWE is looking to sell out the 100,000 seat AT&T Stadium in Apr. and putting Reigns vs. Cena for the title as the main event would be smart.

Everyone knows that WWE wants the former Shield man to take over as the Face of WWE. Cena, who is set to be 39-years-old three weeks after WrestleMania 32, has a growing career in Hollywood and may leave at some point to take advantage of it. He could also become a part-time star, showing up for only the big events. This would leave a huge gap on top of the roster, which WWE is trying to groom Reigns for.

If Reigns and Cena were to face off at WrestleMania 32, it would be a clear passing of the torch match. We saw Hulk Hogan and The Rock do this at WrestleMania X-8 along with Cena and Rock at WrestleMania 28 and 29. Now it would be Mr. HLR putting over Reigns, who would do the same for someone else down the line.

Giving Reigns this win over Cena would hand him his first singles victory at WrestleMania, which will look impressive considering the opponent. At WrestleMania 29 and 30, he competed in six-man tag matches and won. Last year, he famously got pinned by Seth Rollins, who cashed in Money in the Bank during the main event match with Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
