4) Brock Lesnar – WrestleMania 30 (2014)

The two had a number of wars where Brock Lesnar would get the better of the Deadman when Lesnar was first in the WWE as a young WWE Champion in 2002. But they had never fought each other at WrestleMania until years later at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.

This was a different Lesnar who had left the WWE to try his hand at playing professional football and also had a short, yet successful run in mixed martial arts that made him the first to ever with the a national championship in NCAA wrestling, the WWE Championship and the Ultimate Fighting Championship under the heavyweight division.

It might not have been the cleanest match in WWE history, but it was one of the more brutal back and forth affairs we had seen in the WWE. What puts this within the top five on this list is that Lesnar did what many thought was impossible for so long, put an end to the Undertaker’s WrestleMania winning streak – granted it took three F-5s.

It was considered the biggest surprise in professional wrestling since the Montreal Screwjob in 1997, so much so that Lesnar’s music wasn’t played right away and more than 75,000 fans were instantly quiet. Talk about an impactful match in the WWE.
