WWE Raw: Live Spoilers for April 18 in London, UK

Follow along with the live spoilers for Monday’s episode of Raw.

On Monday night, Raw will be taking place at the 02 Arena in London, England. This is part of WWE’s overseas tour that occurs twice per year.

For fans in the United States, you will be watching this on tape delay. Raw will still air at 8:00 PM ET on the USA Network, but will be recorded around 2:00 PM ET in London.

There should be plenty of focus during the show on Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles at Payback. This match was made a few weeks ago after Styles won a No. 1 Contender’s match.

Many are speculating that Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows may align with Styles as well given their history in NJPW. This notion was also furthered when the former Bullet Club members attacked The Usos in their debut last Monday, cousins of Reigns.

Could there be a hint of this on Raw? Might something be saved for Payback in less than two weeks?

Speaking of Anderson and Gallows, we’ll see if they attack Jimmy and Jey again. They made a huge statement in their debut on Apr. 11 and will likely try to interrupt another tag match or two. Could they even become injury replacements for a team?

Shane McMahon running Raw is also not confirmed yet. He has been in charge for the past two weeks with plenty of refreshing changes coming from his control. He made good matches, brought in Apollo Crews and Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, and told off Kevin Owens, who tried getting an automatic Intercontinental Championship match. This was due to WWE’s phony ‘rematch clause’. Will we see more of the Prodigal Son on Monday?

  • Shane McMahon is opening Raw as Dean Ambrose’s guest for the Ambrose Asylum. Kevin Owens also made his way out. Sami Zayn then joined the ring as well as Chris Jericho. Ambrose vs. Jericho and Owens vs. Zayn is set for Payback. Ambrose vs. Owens will main event Raw while Zayn vs. Jericho is kicking off the show.
  • Chris Jericho defeated Sami Zayn via the Codebreaker.
  • AJ Styles is interviewed backstage until Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows interrupted.
  • Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady are out next. They defeated The Dudley Boyz to advance in the No. 1 Contender’s WWE Tag Team Championship Tournament.
  • Roman Reigns is out next to boos.
  • AJ Styles interrupted the promo to a loud ovation. Gallows and Anderson would come out of nowhere to attack Reigns in the ring.
  • Reigns confronted Styles backstage. He said he’s friends with Gallows and Anderson but did not send them out there.
  • Baron Corbin vs. Fandango is next. Dolph Ziggler is on commentary. Corbin defeated Fandango. He then beats down Ziggler after the match.
  • Miz TV is next. After Miz and Maryse start kissing, Cesaro comes out. The crowd starts chanting “boring” at Miz and Cesaro directs them.
  • New Day and Cesaro vs. League of Nations and Miz is next.
  • Cesaro and New Day defeated The League of Nations and Miz.
  • Backstage segment between Charlotte and Natalya. Natalya says Bret Hart will be in her corner for their match at Payback.
  • 8-Woman tag match is up next. Natalya, Sasha Banks, Paige and Becky Lynch defeated Naomi, Tamina, Charlotte and Summer Rae.
  • The Vaudevillains defeated The Usos in the tag team tournament. They will face Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady in the finals at Payback.
  • Apollo Crews defeated Heath Slater.
  • Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose in the main event is next. Owens and Crews made eye contact as they passed each other on the stage.
  • Ambrose defeated Owens via Dirty Deeds. After the match, Chris Jericho came out of nowhere to hit Ambrose with a Codebreaker to close Raw.
