WWE NXT: Spoilers for May 4 to May 18
A look at the spoilers for the next four weeks of WWE NXT.
On Thursday night, WWE NXT will be hosting their latest TV taping from Full Sail University. This will be the first shows filmed from there since the end of January.
This taping will be interesting, as many questions could be answered, possibly having to do with a few Superstars and their futures. The new No. 1 contender to the NXT Championship may be decided as well.

Last Thursday, Samoa Joe won the NXT Championship from Finn Balor in shocking fashion at a live event. This marked the end of a 292-day reign for Balor which started speculation that he would be called up to the WWE main roster. While that hasn’t happened yet, a big thing to look toward at the taping will be if he shows up. It could set up what happens at WWE Payback if Finn doesn’t appear on Thursday, or WWE NXT may just try messing with everyone like they did before TakeOver: Brooklyn.

As for Joe, he may have a new No. 1 Contender determined for his belt. If Balor shows up, it could be him getting his rematch. Shinsuke Nakamura and Austin Aries may be options as well.
The wild cards are Bobby Roode and Hideo Itami. Roode is rumored to have signed with NXT while Itami may be coming back soon, although his window of opportunity may have closed due to a shoulder injury that has kept him on the shelf for nearly 12 months.
Asuka and Bayley’s feud is expected to continue too. The Empress of Tomorrow won the NXT Women’s Championship from the Huggable One at TakeOver: Dallas, and a rematch not happening would be surprising. Could that happen at the taping?
With this in mind, begin following along with our WWE NXT taping around 6:00 PM ET.
