At the tapings over WrestleMania weekend, Nia Jax squashed Deonna Purrazzo in a return to dominance over the competition. Blanchard made her NXT debut at the same set of tapings, but fell short of a victory. Would she be able to top Jax?
Turning Points: It didn’t take long for Jax to jump out to an early advantage, as she just tossed Blanchard into the corner.

After getting Blanchard to the mat yet again, Jax dropped a series of elbows onto her opponent.

Jax worked over Blanchard in the corner, before eventually hitting the big leg drop for a quick victory.

Bryan’s Thoughts: Another squash victory for Jax as she’s further built up as a monster threat to Asuka and the NXT Women’s Championship. Ho hum.
Nice to see Blanchard getting another look with NXT. The commentators keep bringing up her pedigree, so hopefully she’ll get to stick around a bit and do all the things we wanted Purrazzo to do but hasn’t yet.
