1. A resilient champion

One of the biggest aspects that made someone like John Cena the big superstar that he is was how the company built the leader of Cenation as someone who could take a lot of physical abuse and keep going. Sami Zayn can be that type of superstar and he has already shown signs that he can be a similar type of champion.

That doesn’t mean I’m saying we should make him “Super Sami,” but Zayn can be the type of superstar that is able to put together a great match in front of the sellout crowds that include new and unique ways to build a comeback. He’s not the largest superstar on the WWE roster at six-foot-one and 205 pounds, so there will be a number of wrestlers who are going to have a size and strength advantage against him.

In a lot of ways, seeing Zayn wrestle despite any injury he might be suffering from – i.e. Zayn’s United States Championship match against Cena in May 2015 – we know he has the resiliency one would need not only for a champion, but for someone who would win the Money in the Bank ladder match. It also helps that he has a move set that allows him to utilize different parts of the ring and strikes that can be done at any time.
