2. Shinsuke Nakamura almost breaks the internet with his entrance
NXT is a place where you can almost guarantee to see something special during the main event entrances. Finn Balor made something of a name for himself with some of his entrances during his time in NXT, but Shinsuke Nakamura may have topped everything the Demon King ever did.
Nakamura’s entrance music is one of the most impressive pieces of music ever put together under the WWE umbrella. Fans love to sing the theme during the entrance, as well as throughout his matches. How could you make the entrance even more epic? Why not throw in the violin parts played live, and have Nakamura do his thing around it?
Well say hello to Lee England Jr, a violin player so respected he is sponsored by NBA legend Michael Jordan’s Jumpman stable. Before we even caught sight of the man who would walk out with the title, the whole world watching was mesmerised by this man simply playing the violin. The phrase “This is Awesome” is used a lot in wrestling, but this was one of those times when it was warranted.
Around that exceptional violin was the antics of Nakamura himself. Playing to the the crowd, showing off his own unique charisma and showing us just how special he is, Nakamura set us up for a massive main event before he’d even reached the ring.
If you missed these few moments, it is your duty to seek it out right now. A truly awesome moment in NXT history.
