3. Styles vs. Cena Should Happen Again for the WWE Title

Best feud in WWE this year? There are a lot of rivalries that could be considered for the honor, but the winner is AJ Styles vs. John Cena. From the moment Styles turned heel by attacking Cena in May to their great match at SummerSlam, this dream feud has absolutely lived up to the hype.

Cena’s likely going to miss most of the rest of 2016 due to filming the second season of the American Grit television show on Fox. Perhaps WWE will save his return for January just as a way to make it a big deal when he comes back.

How about Styles defending the WWE Title against his biggest rival, John Cena, at the Royal Rumble? It would be a huge match with plenty of backstory as well as the storyline about if Cena can win the WWE Title one more time so that he can tie Ric Flair’s record of 16 World Title wins.

By putting the WWE Title on Styles at Backlash, he would have four months of credibility as the WWE Champion heading into his next match against Cena. Sounds like a great way to add another memorable match to WWE’s best feud in a long time.
