4. Tamina Snuka
We haven’t seen Tamina Snuka in the WWE for most of 2016. It’s not because of the creative team not having anything for her to do. She hasn’t been sent down to the WWE developmental system in NXT because she has to improve. While those would be understandable reasons, Tamina’s absence has been due to a knee injury she suffered earlier this year.
The “muscle” of Team B.A.D. had to undergo surgery to repair a number of ligaments that led to the faction being split up in May. The hope is that Tamina can fully recover soon to make a return to WWE television. However, this isn’t her first injury in the WWE. She missed nearly an entire year due to a torn ACL in 2013.
Beyond that, the daughter of the legendary Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka has not had a consistent impact on the WWE Universe. While she’s worked for the WWE since 2009, she hasn’t quite gotten over either as a manager, bodyguard to other women’s superstars or as a singles competitor.
At the age of 38, one has to wonder if she has much of a future ahead of her with the company. Considering the amount of new women’s talent having come in recently, maybe the WWE needs to cut their ties.
