5. She Needs a New (and Better) Finisher

Nia Jax can’t seem to decide on what her finisher is. She spent most of her career so far using a leg drop, which actually looks quite painful due to the size of her legs. Unfortunately, a leg drop doesn’t get over as a finisher in 2016, so she has transitioned into using a modified Powerslam in recent months. But that move hasn’t worked either, especially since it looks like she’s botching it.

Nia Jax needs a deadlier finisher; one that complements her size and reputation for brutality. There’s only one move that will work perfectly for her: the Burning Lariat.

This move would fit Nia Jax perfectly. Any wrestler can execute a running clothesline and call it a lariat. It takes an exceptionally brutal person to hold their opponent’s head with one hand, extend their other arm, and whip it at that opponent like a wrecking ball. Nia Jax can use this move to great effect, as it doesn’t require as much risk as the various Powerslam variations she has been trying recently.

Even better, she doesn’t have to be super stiff like the wrestler in that video. All her opponents have to do is sell that move like death, flipping over for her to make it look far stronger than it really is. That way, the move gets over as a vicious weapon, and Nia Jax gets over as a vicious wrestler.
