Ziggler Demands Rematch for IC Title

At Survivor Series this past Sunday, The Miz was able to retain his Intercontinental Championship by defeating the Underdog from the Underground, Sami Zayn. The win, of course, was not left without controversy, as most of Miz’s victories this past year have. Maryse had rung the bell and Zayn had thought he had defeated the A-Lister. To his surprise, Miz did not tap out and rolled up Zayn to score the victory. Nonetheless, the Intercontinental Championship remains where it belongs on SmackDown Live.

The Miz, of course, defeated the former champion, Dolph Ziggler last week on SmackDown Live to open the show. This time, the Miz had used the Spirit Squad as a distraction in which to secure the victory. Ziggler will likely look to invoke his rematch clause tonight on SmackDown. The Miz, however, will delay it until the TLC pay-per-view, which is less than two weeks away. It would be interesting to a ladder match be the method the IC title is decided at the TLC pay-per-view.
