Becky Lynch Should Turn Heel on WWE SmackDown
By Jay Sichler
After losing the Smackdown Women’s Championship to Alexa Bliss at TLC, could a heel turn be on the horizon for The Irish Lass Kicker, Becky Lynch?
It’s been a wild ride for the Irish Lass Kicker, Becky Lynch over the last few months. After being Smackdown Live’s first overall female pick in the WWE Draft in July, Lynch looked primed to be the face of the division. She further solidified this case when she won the Smackdown Live Women’s Championship at Backlash becoming the brand’s inaugural Women’s champion. However, her reign would come with issues as a health scare put her on the shelf for about a month.
Lynch would then lose her championship in a highly entertaining tables match against Alexa Bliss earlier this month at TLC. The Irishwoman is set to face Bliss in a rematch for the championship on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. If Bliss leaves as champion, then it will leave Lynch with nothing to do going forward. The question now arises is it time for the latter to finally turn heel since being on the main roster?
Becky showed a glimpse on a heel turn after she lost to Alexa Bliss at TLC. After losing the match, she was bombarded by questions by new backstage reporter Dasha Fuentes. Lynch looked like she was about to snap on Fuentes but was able to collect herself before she went off.
With the way things have happened since Lynch has been on the main roster, maybe it is possibly time she turns heel. The former NXT has always been the nice girl but her kindness has cost her so much during her time on the main roster. She has had three friends turn on her and stab her in the back (Charlotte, Paige, and Natalya). These events have made Becky look like a fool as she had constantly been turned on and has been the victim of multiple attacks by these women.
Lynch was also the only Horsewomen not to win a championship while they were down on the NXT roster. When she finally wins a championship, she quickly defeated by the evil Alexa Bliss proving the point that nice guys or girls finish last.

Next week on Smackdown what could happen is Alexa could win the match cleanly and then in frustration Becky could attack Alexa after the match. This could set up a double turn as Becky could become the villain and Bliss could transition into the face.
This could also add some life into this feud as it is possible that these two could be potentially facing off against one another heading into WrestleMania season. With a new twist to the story, it could be really interesting to see these two in different roles.
It would also be quite interesting to see Beck Lynch as a heel as she has yet to be a villain since being on the main roster. It could lay a new dimension to her character and could set up some interesting feuds with the likes of Nikki Bella and Naomi.

With so many frustrations during her time on the main roster, it now seems like its time to finally turn Becky Lynch into a heel.
