WWE Championship Contract Signing

The WWE welcomed back John Cena last week. I use the term ‘welcomed’ loosely, however, as Cena saw more boos than he typically does. After nearly being booed out of the building, will we at least see a heel turn for Cena? Cena did not seem pleased and showed some unfamiliar attitude as he left the ring. Prior to exiting the ring, the 15-time champion, called out the winner of the triple threat match at the Royal Rumble. As we all know, that man will be AJ Styles.

The contract signing will take place this Tuesday night on SmackDown. Cena and Styles shook hands at the end of the show last week, which will surely be the last time we see that for a while. I am going to make a bold prediction here and say Cena will indeed show signs of turning heel here in 2017. Expect some to go through the table this Tuesday night. These two put on one of the best matches in 2016 at SummerSlam and we will likely see it again at the Royal Rumble.
