5 Reasons a Women’s WWE Royal Rumble Match Should Happen

4. It Would Give More of WWE’s Women an Important Opportunity
The main purpose of the men’s Rumble is to create an atmosphere of unpredictability surrounding the company’s top prizes. In theory, any entrant in the Rumble match, no matter how low on the totem pole, has a chance to win the match.
Even though most people can predict who is likely to win the Rumble match, giving otherwise forgotten talent a chance to make a name for themselves is always a good thing for all the participants.
That’s what the women’s Rumble would do. By having multiple women competing for the same goal, it gives those women an opportunity to prove that they should be challenging for the championship. After all, on both shows we rarely see the champion cycle through more than a handful of regular challengers.
On RAW, the main women’s feuds are Banks vs. Nia Jax and Charlotte vs. Bayley. On SmackDown, it’s Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella vs. Natalya. Everyone else is otherwise directionless, so having these non-regular players put in a marquee match like this would benefit everyone.
