1. It’s The Perfect Way To Bring Back Former Women’s Wrestlers

A major attraction for the Rumble match each year is the surprise entrants. In every Rumble, there’s always a handful of unexpected entrants that don’t have a realistic chance of winning, but make an impact nevertheless. The amount of nostalgia fans feel towards these alumni of WWE is always a major factor in bringing in curious fans to watch the Rumble.

WWE have obviously done this many times with the men, so why not do the same thing with the women? There are only 20 full-time women’s wrestlers at most between RAW, SmackDown, and NXT that fans know about and recognize. So, if WWE were to do a full 30-woman Rumble match, they’d definitely have to fill some of those spots with alumni.

Seeing today’s women face off against champions of yesteryear would be an opportunity for fans of WWE’s women to see dream match-ups that otherwise wouldn’t happen.
