Result: Big E defeats Titus O’Neil via pinfall.

And you thought Big E was about to lose his spot in the Royal Rumble? Well, with how Titus looked in the match, it looked like it for a time because it may have been the former Florida Gator’s best performance ever in the ring. He’s no in-ring technician, but this wasn’t bad at all. However, the Titus Brand’s stock is continuing to go down.

Charlotte Promo

Charlotte talks about Bayley being average and compares her to the WWE Universe. She brings up a photo of Bayley with John Cena and multiple others with past Superstars. Charlotte then compares her training for volleyball to the Hugster writing poems. A past video of Bayley would then get brought up of her reading a past poem.

Bayley would enter the arena and chase Charlotte out of the ring. She said it’s not necessary to have these photos brought up. Bayley spoke about how her dad brought her to every wrestling event possible, even if it wasn’t in the best seats.

This segment had three parts to it. The first came with Charlotte’s opener, which started very well with calling out Bayley for being just another fan. It started to drag, though, until the former NXT Women’s Champion made her way out. She cut a solid promo, possibly one of her best with the passion involved. However, the ending bit of poetry, something you could categorize as Poetry Slam 101, flopped. It was awkward, to say the least.

Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, and Kevin Owens Backstage

Jericho says with their brains and Strowman’s “brawn” should help them win tonight. Y2J tells Strowman to soften up Seth Rollins. Strowman says he will do everything how he wants and when he wants. He says he will take Owens’ Universal Championship at WrestleMania.
