Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss for the Smackdown Women’s Championship

Fans have been waiting to see Naomi on top of the Women’s Division for quite some time now, and they will get that chance tonight.  It is no doubt that the former Funkadactyl is the most athletic female on the entire Women’s Division roster, and being put on a pedestal such as the Championship picture is big for her.  She has indeed come a long way since the NXT Season Three days.

Bliss has been absolutely killing it since her push to the Championship and beyond.  No one could have predicted her amazing run when she was drafted to Smackdown last year.  After capturing the Championship, Bliss has been trying clever ways to keep her Championship but after Naomi has pinned her twice, Bliss’ luck looks to have run out.

Naomi has made it clear that she wants to carry the Championship to her hometown of Orlando for WrestleMania.  I don’t see that happening, but perhaps she will get her crowning moment there.  Fans of Naomi would definitely love that and her career will come full circle should she capture the Championship in a WrestleMania moment.  After being left off the main Mania card for a couple of years, it would be a sweet treat for her to get her due on pro wrestling’s biggest stage.
