TNA Impact Wrestling Results: Highlights and Analysis for February 16

Crazy Steve and Rosemary vs Brandi and Moose
Result: Moose and Brandi def. The Decay via pinfall
Brandi was deemed Mini Moose for this match as she took some pointers from Moose. The mental edge was definitely on the Decay’s side for a number of reasons but mainly with Abyss on the outside of the ring and he paid dividends. The Decay had control for a nice portion of this match but Moose was just too powerful. The Decay did show their chemistry by cutting off the ring many times in the match. Brandi and Moose would fight their way back into the match as Moose and her performer Moose’s signature punches in stereo to win the match.
I am interested in where this feud will go and if it will bring Cody back to TNA. This could cause a rivalry between Moose and Cody because I think Moose is on the list. Either way, I like that this is another segment that has many different directions it could go. I’m excited to see what happens with Brandi’s progression.
Eddie Edwards Wants Answers
Eddie Edwards calls out his former tag team partner, Davey Richards an explanation of his actions from last week. Richards turned his back on his Wolf brother last week when he cost him the World Championship. Edwards wanted Richards but would get Angelina Love who was also in on the attack of Edwards and his wife. She stated that Davey Richards only moves at Angelina’s request. After being insulted, Love brings out Davey Richards but waits to allow him to give an explanation. The two get into a brawl that has to be broken up by security and a challenge issued. Davey Richards will face Eddie Edwards in a Street Fight tonight.
We all waited last week with baited breath as the turn was about to commence. I absolutely love how it played out and to cost his brother the World Title made it even better. The incorporation of Eddie’s wife made fans hate Richards and Love that much more. It was excellently executed and sets up a series of matches that everyone can’t wait to see.
