Kingston vs Jessie Godderz
Result: Godderz def. Kingston via pinfall
This was somewhat of a random match but it brought the in-ring return of Jessie Godderz. Another weird aspect of this match is that Kingston came out alone. Godderz is oddly in control in this match against one of the members of one of the most dominant factions in wrestling right now. Jessie Godderz comes away with the victory over Kingston to show that perhaps the divide and conquer strategy could work against the DCC. After the match, Storm and Bram appear in the ring but Jessie has already escaped and seems to have the number of the Death Crew Council.
Kingston versus Jessie Godderz seemed like an odd match but it was entertaining. Godderz is still one of the most improved and athletic wrestlers in TNA. It’s amazing how much he has come since coming over from Big Brother. The match does make fans wonder who is next for the DCC and a question I always have is who will be the next member?
Facts of Life With Tyrus?
The last time we saw Tyrus, he was being left alone in a handicap situation by his teammate Eli Drake. Now it seems that Tyrus has taken over the show to bring out Drake as a guest. Drake comes out with his arm in a sling after the attack by the DCC a few weeks prior. It seems that his arm is healthy and wants to put Tyrus in his place. He clarifies that Tyrus has been the one that holding him back and leaving him high and dry. Tyrus takes offense to this and grabs Eli Drake by the neck and tells him to meet him in the ring next week.
Like I said last week, I want to see Tyrus have some matches on his own. There seems to be potential there but it needs to be realized. That can be seen from his time working with Eli Drake because he may not be Drake on the microphone but he can hold his own.
The Hardys speak to Konan and he sets up the match between the Hardys and Psychosis and Super Crazy. Highlights of the match are played to preview the match and hype up the fans.
