Sami Zayn Strikes Back
Following his win over Rusev, Sami Zayn found himself on the receiving end of a vicious assault at the hands of Samoa Joe. This marks Joe’s first official feud on the main roster, as his first logical opponent (Seth Rollins) was injured by the end of their altercation. Displaying amazing dominance, Joe looked as dangerous as ever before. Zayn, on the other hand, has another monster to contend with, which will no doubt bring out his perseverance and fortitude. These two are both unbelievable performers, and when they lock horns their match is destined to impress.
Expect things between Joe and Zayn to continue to deteriorate on tomorrow’s episode of RAW. Zayn has never been known to back down from a fight, and everyone knows that Joe is always willing to dismantle an opponent. The official match between these two probably won’t occur until Fastlane, but that doesn’t mean they won’t get physical before then. Should Joe compete inside the squared circle Monday, it would present Zayn with the perfect chance to get even. His interference would, in turn, draw the ire of the Samoan Destroyer, building the feud even further ahead of Fastlane.
In terms of who will win their upcoming match, odds are Joe will be walking out with his hand held high. A big win here is crucial for him to be able to ascend the WWE ladder, and in turn be a worthy contender for future Universal Championship opportunities. As for Zayn, he’s the type of character that can afford to lose more often than most, because he always bounces back and wants to get back in the fight. If pulled off correctly, both of these men could benefit greatly from this program.
