4 Predictions for WWE SmackDown Live: February 21, 2017

If there is one thing we learned from last week’s episode of SmackDown Live, it is that Dean Ambrose versus Baron Corbin needs to happen. It appears to be heading in that direction. Corbin has played a major role over the past few months and it is all coming to fruition now during Wrestlemania season. Last week, Ambrose was taken out on a stretcher at the hands of the Lone Wolf, Corbin. After all, it was Ambrose that cost Corbin his shot at the WWE title in the Elimination Chamber.

I expect two things to happen this week involving these two. One, Ambrose will be attacked by Corbin during an interview. Two, one of the two will eliminate the other during the Battle Royal this week. Ambrose will likely be the one eliminating Corbin and he will then retaliate. Another beat down of Ambrose will give Corbin a one-on-one match-up with the Lunatic Fringe in the coming weeks. Corbin will then receive a title shot. A heel such as Corbin, should have the Intercontinental Championship around his waist.
