Is Shaq getting cold feet in the upcoming match with The Big Show?

An interview with the Big Show that was published on WWE.com Friday, focused on his new workout regimen and healthy lifestyle.  While Show was open about his weight loss journey, he didn’t hesitate to let his thoughts be known about the rumored match that may happen between him and Shaq.  Earlier this month, Show would call Shaq out in a tweet that got fans talking.

The possibility of the match happening started last year at WrestleMania 32, where Shaq made a surprise appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.  Show would eliminate the basketball legend which sparked the speculation.

In the interview Show confirmed that there were talks between the parties, starting at the ESPY Awards.  However, after seeing Shaq and John Cena filming a carpool karaoke video for the Today Show that included meeting at a Krispy Kreme the legend owns, it gave Show the wrong impression.

"“I mean, here’s the thing. We shot this off at the ESPY Awards, Shaq said he’s in, I thought this would be a good match for fans to see two giants go at it. And I see Shaq riding around, singing karaoke and stopping in at Krispy Kreme. I’m like, “Hey! If you’re not gonna take it serious, find something else to do!” I’ve given 22 years of my blood, sweat and tears to this business and I’m doing this favor to Shaq. This could be my last WrestleMania. He needs to step up.”"

Show also went on to say that he believed that Shaq was “terrified” of the match, citing his lack of motivation towards the event that questions his commitment.  With WrestleMania a little over a month away, time is running out.  And according to Show, his time is valuable.
